Located on Ummahat Island, a private island in the Al Wajh Lagoon, The St. Regis Red Sea resort opened in early 2024. In a bid to boost tourism, Saudi Arabia is investing a large amount of money into the Red Sea Project and The St. Regis Red Sea Resort is the first of many hotels set to open in the destination, bringing luxury and elegance to the Ummahat archipelago.

How to get to The St. Regis Red Sea Resort

Fly into the Red Sea International Airport (RSI) on Saudia or flydubai, then take a charter boat transfer (included) or seaplane transfer (for an additional fee) to the resort.

Overwater Bungalows at The St. Regis Red Sea

The private island resort features 90 luxuriously appointed villas for hotel guests to choose from. There are beachfront villas, called Dune Villas, and overwater villas, called Coral Villas. The Dune villas are nestled on a sweeping white sand beach and shaped in a way that reflects desert sand formations. The overwater Coral Villas bring to mind the shapes of seashells and these overwater suites offer direct water access.

Each of the spacious villas features private outdoor pools and private sundecks so guests can enjoy the compelling sea views. Rooms are available with sunrise or sunset views so you can choose accordingly to customize your experience on the water’s edge at Ummahat Island.

Rooms are air conditioned and like all St. Regis hotels, feature the company’s signature butler service. From the time you check in your butler is there to assist with your needs and ensure you make the most of your time at this stunning outdoor sanctuary.
