Highlights

  • Prioritize Privacy

The resort’s overwater bungalows are located on a private island just off the coast of the main resort, allowing for complete privacy

  • Easy Travel Day

Located just a few minutes from Montego Bay Airport, Sandals Royal Caribbean makes your travel day short and stress free

Located on a heart-shaped boardwalk and a private island just off the coast of the main resort, the overwater bungalows at Sandals Royal Caribbean emphasize romance and privacy. Like all Sandals Resorts, Royal Caribbean is all-inclusive and adult-only.

The 17 overwater bungalows (five with infinity pools) are just a short water taxi ride to the main resort and your butler can arrange this 24/7 service if you’d like to partake in the resort’s myriad restaurants or spa and pool. But why would you when each villa features a rainfall shower, a two-person soaking tub, floor-to-ceiling windows, a swinging day bed, a glass window in the floor, and an overwater hammock for two?

Located right in Montego Bay, Sandals Royal Caribbean is more convenient to the airport than Sandals South Coast, but means it can be noisier as you can see and hear planes.

  • Adults-Only

Like all Sandals resorts, South Coast is adults-only and all-inclusive

While Sandals South Coast is further from the airport than Royal Caribbean (90 minutes instead of five-minutes), it boasts a more peaceful atmosphere and a huge stretch of beach.

Your all-inclusive, adults-only overwater bungalow comes with 24-hour butler service and each of the 12 overwater bungalows shares a boardwalk with the overwater wedding chapel (making it the most romantic of the Jamaica overwater bungalows) and Latitudes, an overwater bar.

The overwater bungalows feature an overwater hammock for two, a rainfall shower, a two-person soaking tub, floor-to-ceiling windows, a swinging day bed, and the requisite glass window in the floor. If you do venture out of your bungalow, the resort features three beachfront pools, nine restaurants, and seven bars.
