Christmas Events in Orlando (that aren’t theme parks!)

Christmas in Orlando may bring to mind the magical theme park decorations at Walt Disney World and Universal Studios Florida and I’m a big fan of Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party, but those come with a high price tag! A notable attraction during the holiday season is the giant LEGO Christmas tree at Legoland Florida, featuring an impressive 360-degree light show. Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume

I recently had the opportunity to go to the Heroes and Villains: The Art of the Disney Costume exhibit at the Birmingham Museum of Art and when I say it exceeded all my expectations, that’s an understatement! The Birmingham Museum of Art is free and you can see all their African, Asian, and European Art, as well as their extensive Wedgewood China collection. However, the Disney exhibit costs $30 per adult and $20 for children ages 4-17 (3 and under is free). Note that the exhibition runs through August 18, 2024, so if you want to go, don’t wait! After we purchased our tickets, we were given wristbands and Costume…
